The Best County To Live In

The best county to live in America is......

That's right its San Miguel County Colorado.  The home of Telluride Colorado !

So says 247WallStreet. 

What could it be based on?  First and foremost, its based on the health of its residents.  And we are a healthy bunch.  We have the Telluride Ski Resort right out our front doors and endless miles of hiking, biking and recreational opportunities.

How about McDonalds or Jimmy Johns?  Nope.  You will have to drive 65 miles to find any fast food of any kind.

Add in the fact that  the nearest metropolitan area is a five hours drive.  And that is not even Denver.  That's right kids, Albuquerque is the closest city.  Denver and Salt Lake City are about equal distance, too at a 6 hours drive.  Phoenix?  A mere eight hours away.  That leads to no crowds, low automobile traffic and less pollution.
