Telluride softball on skis and boards?  Yep.  Its one of the great traditions in Telluride, Colorado.  The Ski Patrol faces off against the Lift Ops on March 17th, St Patricks' Day every year.

Always located at the base of Lift 7 on O'Reillys Field, this year the game had more meaning.  A new tradition for the game was started with the unveiling of the Gus Cup, named in honor of long time ski patroller Jim Guest, who passed away earlier this summer.

And guess what?  The Ski Patrol responded for one of their own and ended up with a 15-7 win!
