Telluride Film Festival. The 2021 Edition
Well? Put the 2021 Telluride Film Festival in the books. So far, it seems as we got through a wildly successful festival, without any COVID issues. A big "Shout Out" to the entire staff of the Film Festival to pull this off with daily testing at a 75 percent capacity. Simply put, no negative test, meant no admission.
To me? I only saw one movie (I had to go out of town) and it was spectacular. Becoming Led Zeppelin. What surprised me the most is how fondly the three surviving members viewed the story and not at any point in time did it devolve into the feud.
But there was an Oscar buzz about a few films. The Rescue; a documentary on saving the Thai soccer kids, King Richard, about the Williams sisters of professional tennis fame, starring Will Smith, as well as The Power of the Dog and Belfast.
Many stars made the trip.
But if you missed the festival and the after the fest fest, you are just going to have to wait until the movies get released or picked up.
Or? Make a lodging reservation and gets tickets for the 2022 Fest and join in on the fun.
Up next? Telluride Blues and Brews! Woo hoo!
