Telluride and Whitefish

Why would your Trusted Advisor Teddy Errico, with Telluride LIV Sotheby's International Realty cheat on Telluride and Mountain Village and go visit Whitefish, Montana?

Well, for starters, as Mayor of Telluride, we set up a tour of the Whitefish Wastewater Treatment Facility.  (Telluride needs a new one)  We wanted to check out some newer technologies, like this plant offers.

And if you make the effort to get to Whitefish?  You better check it out.  So we went skiing for a day. Despite the lack of vertical and elevation (and like Telluride, little snow) the mountain skied great.  Lots of groomers and some really fun patches of black diamond skiing.

We added in a few great restaurants, like Tupelo Grill and Fleur Bakery int the mix too.  And Bowling!

Lastly, I bought breakfast for Glacier Sotheby's International Realty.  Why?  To network with 20 great professionals and learn a little more about our induastry and what makes Whitefish so special.  And it is.

What I loved?  There is a lake just a few miles of downtown with a a City Beach and ability to do all things boating.  The Ski Hill is only 7 miles up the road.  They have 36 holes of muinicpal golf just a mile away, and in less than a 30 minutes drive one can check out Glacier National Park.   Teh aiport and pleanty of flights from Seatlle, Denver, Salt Lake City and Minneapolis is about a twenty minute drive.  They also have an indoor ice rink with a vibrant youth and adult hockey scene!  Its nowhere near as luxurious as Telluride, but offers a wonderful authentic vibe and mix of locals.
