Telluride and New Orleans

Telluride and New Orleans.  Seems like an odd combination.  But a further look, shows some similarities.   That is probably why I love New Orleans and try to make it down at least once a year

You are going to have to humor a bit here.  Both places have excellent restaurants, both high end and funky.  Both have good music festivals, especially for the size of each respective town.  Both have the nicest people in the world.  Both are unique in the sense there is nothing like them anywhere else in the United States, maybe the world! 

Did you know the owners of Smugglers Brewpub and Sidework, used to work at Herbsaint?  That some of out festivals have crossover staff that work the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Telluride Jazz and Blues and Brews?

So while I was there to eat and see the Radiators, I did mange to network with some Brokers from Dorian Bennett Sotheby's International Realty, in the Marigny.  The New Orleans market seems to be a good one.

So, if you love Telluride, check out New Orleans.  And vice versa.  There is a connection.  Lets keep it rolling.
