St Paddys Day in Telluride Colorado is always on of the most fun days of the year. To start the day we played in the Snowflake Golf Tournament on the Telluride Golf Course.
Yes its winter. And yes, the golf course is covered in snow. But you play nine holes in a scramble. Limited flight plastic hollow balls must be used. There is some Jameson and Green Beer involved. Plus a great lunch at the Club catered by Mark Krassic.
The weather cooperated with sunshine and warmth. My team finished in 3rd place too. What a great time had by all.

St Paddys Day is for Fun

Shortly after golf, I was off to Lift 7. For about twenty years I have umpired the Softball game between the Ski Patrol and Lift Operators. Once the resort closes for the day, the base area turns into a ball field. O’Reilly’s Field. This is fun and an annual Telluride tradition. The final score? Lift Ops 7, Ski Patrol 5.
