SouthWest Airlines To Fly From Austin

Just announced! Southwest Airlines announces new jet service from Austin Texas, into Montrose Colorado starting in January 7, 2023. The Saturday only service will make it easier than ever to ski Telluride.

And here in Telluride, we get to test this route to see if it makes economic sense, and hopefully expand on the number of days per week to get to Telluride.

It also enables us Telluridians to go to Austin. Certainly I always need my Uchi and Franklin BBQ fix!

So once again, Southwest comes through with more flights to Montrose Regional Airport and helps keep fares reasonable, too.

Keep in mind that the Montrose Airport is also going through a major expansion and renovation, again all intended to improve the travel experience for our guests.
