Scenes from Opening Weekend in Telluride

Scenes from opening weekend at the Telluride Ski Resort. We finally opened for the 2021-22 season. There wasn't a ton of snow, but the conditions on the Misty Maiden were soft and slushy as the temperatures hit close to 50 degrees.

And one of the sunniest spots in all of North American ski country was open for business! Gorrono !

A special thank you goes out to all of the staff at the resort. They did a wonderful job in getting the mountain open with such challenging conditions. They even did it with a smile, from Ski Patrol to ticket checkers to lift operator to bartenders.

The good news? I mean really good news? We could see up to three feet of snow by the end of the week via three storms. Chris Tomer of Channel 2 says so, so I'll believe it!

It felt so good to be out there!
