Recharging is good for the soul, the mind and the Telluride Real Estate business. After my best summer/fall sales season ever, I felt it was a good time to escape.

Aloha!

And when I need an escape, I love traveling to the Garden Island of Kauai. What more could one ask for? Fresh poke. Oceanside Golf Courses. A Bubba Burger. Chicken and Spam Musubi. Lousy Surfing. And just the sweet smell of the ocean.

To most Telluridians? The town of Hanalei is our kindred spirt. Once you park the car, you are done. Walk to the beach. Walk to the market. Walk to the restaurants and shops. And the mountain views that tower out of the ocean? Just superb. Simply put its Telluride on the beach.

So if you love Telluride, you will love Hanalei. Mahalo.

See you back in Telluride by Thanksgiving. Or maybe not.
