October 2025 Sales in The Telluride Region

The end of the Summer Fall Season was solid, with October 2025 producing good results for the Telluride Real Estate Market.

October performed well with over $78 million in sales, and that was flat vs 2024.   The Number of Sales dipped slightly and was off 4% vs 2024 with 44 transactions.

Overall the market continues to balance itself better between Buyers and Sellers and it appears the the frenzy of the last 4 years has sloed down a bit.  

Most of the action in October 2025 closings was in the historic town of Telluride with 12 sales but with more of a mid rnage price point.   Teh Mountain Village was only off 5%.  Its thr remainder of the County that prevented October from being up, with its number of sales beign off 32%.

The high end is also off a little too, with a 33% dip in transactions over $5 million.   That decrease has held steady throughout 2025.

But overall, 2025 is holding its own in the post pandemic market from 2020 until present.  We are only off 17% on dolloar volume from 2024 and close to on track with the lowest dollar volume year of the time period, 2023, which saw $745 million in sales from January 1 through October 31st , vs 2025 which comes in at $720 million.
