Oh yeah.  The Telluride Ski Resort is finally open for the 2025-26 season.  And the snow gods really got rolling this week with two storms that easily pumped down 2 feet of snow on the ski area.

Not much open, yet, which is common, but trust me that yesterday's openign day was fun and the snow was soft.  There was no "ribbon of death" this year.

Im addition to a handful of laps, as is my tradition, I went for a deliious adult beverage at the Gorrono Saloon.  A remnant the preceeds the ski resort from the family ranch, the Gorrono saloon is an intaiate place to grab a drink and a hot dog on teh Lift 4 area.  And famed bartender Rowena is in her 32nd year!

Overall, 41 inches of snow have fallen on teh resort this year with a 25" base.  Can't wait for more terrain to open.

So act now, sharpen those skis, tune those boards and make plans to come visit Telluride this winter!
