More Accolades for Telluride!

More accolades for Telluride, although this recognition wasn't so hard.  Telluride makes a top 15 mountain towns to visit in the State of Colorado, via Trekaroo.  What's Trekaroo you may ask?  Its a grassroots community of families inspiring each other to travel the world.  They offer many resources and experts to help plan those trips too.

Despite a quick mention, they seem to get it right for the winter.  They talk about a lack of lift lines, uncrowded slopes and easy accessibility from town.

I'm not sure I would have highlighted backcountry skiing although Telluride back and side country skiing are legendary.   Its just dangerous and backcountry skiers need so much education, gear and preparation.  Guided or not.

But they get lodging right, as the Hotel Telluride is a great option for historic Telluride.
