McPhee Reservoir is a Great Trip

McPhee Reservoir is a great trip from Telluride whether for the day, weekend or longer. Its just a 75 minute drive to get to the Marina from downtown Telluride.

It is the second largest lake in the state. You can even rent a boat there! Plenty of places to camp, and if you don't feel like camp cooking you can bring delicious home baked and prepared goods from the Dolores Market.

What a treat, to get to enjoy the warm 69 degree water and some good friends. We were on a Telluride Contractors boat (Osborne Builders) the Attorney did some wake skating (Dan Zemke) and we saw our tree clearer, Festival Production Director Town Councilman, Insurance Agent, Architect. Interior Designer. You get the picture

That's pretty funny.

So if you need to beat the heat. Head south to MacPhee, right outside of Dolores and Cortez. Its beautiful, fun, quiet and most important, nearby.
