March 2022 Telluride Real Estate Sales
March 2022 Telluride Real Estate Sales were up twenty five percent in dollar volume over March 2021. Overall the number of transactions dipped twenty one percent.
Over $150 million changed hands in 76 transactions. Both the town of Telluride and Mountain Village were brisk, with twenty-nine sales total.
It will be interesting to see how the dollar volume pace continues in April, and how the number of contracts fare in both April and May. Will we have an off-season? Will Buyers continue to raise the bar and spend more money. Will new Sellers emerge and increase the number of properties for sale?
What is truly amazing is that the average sale price in San Miguel County has continued to skyrocket; up fifty one percent year to date over 2021.

And Buyers? Its off-season, so you might have a tiny bit of time to look around and view the selection without a frenzy of other Buyers, as town has noticeably slowed down since the seasonal closing of the Telluride Ski Resort on April 3rd.
