June Telluride Real Estate Numbers Remain Strong. 2021 has just been an insane year to buy and sell real estate in San Miguel County!
For June 2020 vs June 2021 the growth is significant. The Dollar Volume as up ninety-one percent and the number of transactions up one-hundred and five percent. Wow.
The mid year figures are staggering with year to date dollar volume up one-hundred and fifty-nine percent and the number of transactions up one-hundred and seven percent.
Despite the high cost to build land sales keep crushing it with 153 sales thus far in 2021.
The lack of inventory will slow the numbers a little, but Telluride remains a hot commodity and the place to be.
So what to do?
If you are considering selling? Get that home on the market ASAP and take advantage of the rush. I would be happy to provide an analysis and net sheet to see what we might be able to garner in a sale.
If you are buying? Dive in to the pool! Start enjoying the Telluride lifestyle now. But you will need to be either less picky or invest more. And lean on your Broker more than ever.
And by less picky? You may need a smaller home. Maybe live outside the town limits. Maybe not trailside. You get the idea.
And by invest more? You could hit levels in excess of $2,000 per square foot, or setting a record in a condominium complex. But to me? Living in Telluride is worth it !
