Well kids.  Another Fourth of July has come and gone in Telluride, Colorado.  And do you know what?  It. Was. Awesome.

It started off with two flyovers. One was two fighter jets from the United States Air Force and the other was an old school plane doing tricks with the smoke trail behind.


Then?  As Mayor of this fine town?  I got to ride in the parade in front of what I'd estimate as 15,000 people.

That was followed by a great picnic and music event, hosted by the town, in Telluride Town Park. Then?  numerous BBQ's spread throughout town.  But the highlight will always be the fireworks.  For 2024, the town of Telluride added a drone show pre and post fireworks, that was so cool with 600 drones flying in tandem.

What a great day
