HGTV Says Telluride Gondola is #1
Today as I was getting ready for my work day at the Telluride Office of LIV Sotheby's International Realty, Denver's Fox 31 News was on in the background when I noticed a few Gondola photos.

Well? HGTV has ranked the Telluride Gondola as the Number 1 Free Attraction in the entire State of Colorado.
The Telluride to Mountain Village Gondola opened in December of 1996 and carries about 3 million passengers between the two towns. It's a free ride and funded through taxpayers and the Telluride Ski and Golf Company so its riders can ride the G for no fee.
Make no mistake. The G is not to Ski. Its a transporation mode that alleviates the parking and traffic crunch in our small mountain towns. Yes, people do get off to ski the Telluride Ski Resort, but its so much more than that. It runs from 6 am to Midnight Daily and operates almost 10 months of the year. For example, the l;ast time I rode the G? It was to access the Telluride Golf Club. And before that? I was off to a morningf meeting at the Peaks Resort and Spa.
HGTV is the Home and Garden Television Network that is a Basic Cable channel that primarlity bropadcasts reality prgramming tied to home improvement and real estate sales. It's in 72 million households.
So come on to Telluride and ride the G. There is still time to get here for Labor Day Weekend, Telluride Film Festival, Telluride Blues and Brews and to watch the fall colors. We can ride together.
Who knows? Maybe you'll fall in love with Telluride and need to look at some property with me!
