Happy Easter. Happy Off-Season

Happy Easter from Telluride.  And Happy Off-Season from Telluride.   

Ellie the Silver Lab also wishes you a Happy Easter and Happy Passover. Here she is hiking the San Miguel River Valley Floor, enjoying the newfound peace and quiet.

For anyone coming to Telluride this spring off-season.  That will last well into May.  Remember, the Telluride Ski Resort is closed for the season.  The Gondola that connects Telluride and Mountain Village is closed until right before Memorial Day weekend.

Most hiking trails are snow covered and not accessible.  Most of the restaurants will be closed.  Even many retail stores will be closed or operating on reduced hours.  Many rental properties will be unavailable and many of the Hotels closed.

Simply put.  We Telluridians are taking a much needed break.

But if you like peace and quiet and just want to watch the world go by?  Off-season can be magnificent

So when do we unofficially open back up?  That would be the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Even both golf course, Telluride and Cornerstone open up that day.
