February 2020 Real Estate Sales in Telluride

February 2020 Real Estate Sales in Telluride were strong, once gain. Overall we were up twenty-two percent in dollar volume as compared to 2019.   The number of transactions were up, but just five percent.

February 2020 also beat the 5 year average by 38% in dollars and 11% in transactions.  That is five months in a row that the dollars beat the previous 5 year average!

Transfer Telluride and condominium sales within the town of Telluride in general are very strong.  Dollar volume year to date (March 1)  in the segment is up 700 percent.  Yes you read that right.

It will be interesting how COVID 19 will slow sales.  I'll write about that shortly.
