Bon Vivant Lunch is one of Telluride's Best
Bon Vivant lunch is one of Telluride's Best, if not one of the best on mountain dining experiences in all of North America. The scenery is reminiscent of the French or Swiss Alps with towering views of Palmyra Peak.
On Wednesday I wanted to check it out again as the temperatures hit close to 50 degrees without a cloud in the sky. What is even more dumb was that this was my first time of the season eating and enjoying Bon Vivant.
The venue is also easy to get to at the top of Lift 5/Polar Queen Express and sun splashed. It really is a fine dining restaurant.
What did I get to eat?
A nice glass of red wine, in addition to the Croque Monseur, a delightful blend of gruyere cheese and ham between thick slices of French bread with a fried egg on top. Wow.
Don't snooze on Alpino Vino or Giuseppe's either. Its worth it. I encourage you to challenge yourself to find better ski in dining anywhere and that includes Aspen, Vail and Park City. Its what makes Telluride, well, Telluride! The great skiing and great views provide a lifestyle experience second to none.
Remember the trick for a reservation. Ski by early, like 11:30 am and put your name on the list. And a table will be waiting an hour later!
