Blues and Brews Recap

How did I miss a quick summary and posting of the 2025 Telluride Blues and Brews Festival?    Dare I say that I was working too hard?  Well if you know me, as your Trusted Advisor for Telluride Real Estate?  I do work hard, but I also still play hard too.  That is why I was at Blues and Brews as usual.

The Music Festival Business is a tough one, and many of the Festivals throughout the United States had down years, and some even went out of business.

But with the hardworking crew at SBG Productions, led by Steve Gumble and Courtney McClary-Yug, Blues and Brews was and is able to survive.  Despite lower attendnce than in 10 years, the event was profitable, meaning it can sustain itself for our fun.  And more importantly?  It really helps the local economy.

Now for the festival?  Despite some tough weather, I had some great highlights.  Thursdays?  Definitely Samantha Fish at the Sheridan Opera House.  Fridays highlight was Devon Allman I loved the private beer tasting on Saturday and Andy Frasco brough fun and energy in his first trip to Telluride..  And what's wrong with Anders Osborne and the Black Crowes to close out your Saturday!!

And the best part?  The festival is about 12 blocks from my house!  Crazy!  So, put it on the list for 2026!
