April 2024 Telluride Real Estate Numbers

How did Telluride, Mountain Village and San Miguel County fare in April 2024 for Real Estate Sales?  Good thing Teddy Errico is here from LIV Sotheby's International Realty to give you the scoop.

Overall the market is still very strong.  April 2024 saw a slight dip in sales volume from 2023 and at $85 million was off last years pace by 10%. Teh number of transactions were off just 6%.

As for year to date?

2024 is stacking up quite nicely to the pandemic year and is on track to be the 3rd best year ever.  And up 26% as compared to 2023 in dollars. Who knows if we can keep up that pace, but as long as we stay in the conversation with the peak pandemic buying years?  Thats is a good sign for the Telluride Real Estate Market.

38.5% of the sales occurred in the town of Mountain Village, as that submarket continues to hum along despite the average sales price dipping down year to date at $1.6 million, from $2.2 million a year ago.
