Another New Telluride Hotel in Planning Stage

Another new Telluride Hotel in planning stage.  The TKV Hotel.  Located at the corner of San Juan and Fir Street just steps to the Telluride Gondola and on the River Trail.  You might recognize the property as a large chuck of vacant land with a dilapidated old school house on it.  Right between the IceHouse Hotel and Camels Garden Hotel.

Overall this boutique hotel will feature 16 hotel room ands a variety of condominiums.

The story poles went up a few days ago, to show its height within the neighborhood as the developer seeks approvals from the town of Telluride.

There will be some public benefit too, with a public restaurant, public meeting room and affordable housing on site.

It has been a while since Telluride has seen construction of a new hotel.  The Hotel Columbia and Hotel Telluride are the two most recent in the late 1990's

Now?  We have two in the pipeline.  The Telluride Hotel on the corner of Colorado and Willow Street.  Plus the TKV.
