Another Great Jazz Festival

Last weekend, the Telluride Jazz Festival happened in Telluride Town Park.  And the music was fantastic.  The festival, which has been happening since the 1980's is owned by The Telluride Society for Jazz and produced by SBG Productions, of Telluride Blues and Brews fame.

 And this festival is special for Teddy Errico, your Trusted Advisor with LIV Sotheby's International Realty.

Why?

He is a board member for the Telluride Society for Jazz and worked with SBG Productions for 20 years on the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival.

This year's highlights, and really my favorites, were CimaFunk, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Balthvs and Parlor Greens.    And of course as a Patron, we were treated to meal after meal by renowned New Orleans and Telluride chef, Will Nolan.

You know what else is special?  Intimacy.  The festival caps attendance at 3,000 which is about 1/4 of the size of our largest music festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival.   

So mark your calendar August 7-9, 2026.  Why?  Becuase its fun and the proceeds from the festival go to support jazz education as well as hosting numerous student bands throughout the weekend like the Telluride All Stars.
