A Telluride Blues and Brews Recap. Well it appears that summer is over. Why? Because the 2019 Telluride Blues and Brews Festival is over.

But what a weekend it was.

First, the music. Legends were in attendance. John Fogarty of Creedence Clearwater revival closed out Friday. George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic closed out Sunday with special guest Jewel joining in on "We Want the Funk" There were more. Tab Benoit. Anders Osborne, Samantha Fish, Cedric Burnside and on and on,

Want more? How about beer? My favorite beer during the tasting was the Mexican Lager from Sessions. The winner of the Festival? The Marble Brewing Company out of Albuquerque.

How about Food? Yep. We got that too. Had some delicious Meat Pies from Mama P's, the alter ego of Smugglers Brew Pub and Side Works. Also had a pulled pork and pineapple empanada. And a delicious chicken Naan Wrap. Of course I had a few dumplings and wontons, too.

Its a good thing Telluride has so much going on for entertainment, because if not, I'd be really sad this fine festival is over.
