The World Cup Snowboardercross winners are Men’s: Pierre Vaultier. Women’s: Lindsey Jacobellis!

In addition terrain on Gold Hill and Revelation Bowl opened up late Friday. All lifts except lift 2 are open and the front side down to historic Telluride will open soon, maybe even later today!

Telluride Real Estate Sales Up 12% in November!

Telluride Regional Real Estate was up 12% in November 2011, as compared to November 2010. Also good news was that the number of sales actually decreased over that same time period. That is good news because the average price per property actually went up as well!

Overall year to date we are off 24% in total sales volume, but up 15% in number of transactions.

Some sales highlights are Castellina D in the Mountain Village selling at over $2.9 million and 120/122 Tomboy Road in historic Telluride selling for over $3.4 million.

Telluride Opens Lift 6 and 12 on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Telluride Ski Resort will open most of the terrain off of Lift 6 and Prospect Bowl Lift, tomorrow.

6-10 inches of snow expected too by Noon!

Telluride's Lift 9 is OPEN!

Earlier today, the Telluride Ski Resort’s infamous Chair 9 (aka Plunge Lift) opened for this first time of the season!

Its always fun to ride Bushwacker, Lower Plunge, Kantmakm and Mammoth with NO BUMPS!

Its sunny, so get up and make some turns, if you can.

Telluride Hosts World Cup Again

On December 13-17, Telluride, Colorado for the 3rd straight year, becomes home to the LG FIS Snowboard World Cup.

Telluride is proud to host the Snowboard Cross, which will be broadcast in late December and early January on the NBC Sports Networks.

The event takes place on The Misty Maiden Trail and will feature athletes such as Lindsey Jacobellis.

Telluride Airport Wins Award

The Telluride Regional Airport recently won an award from the Colorado Pilots Association for providing excellent service and amenities.

The award was for commercial flights and all that we, as a community do to insure flights come to a remote Mountain resort town, including all recent construction improvements and noise mitigation for neighbors.

Telluride Ski Resort Snowfall Totals

Over the December 3rd weekend, The Telluride Ski Resort was hit with fourteen inches of snow!

Control work is ongoing, the entire Lift 5 area is open, and we expect more terrain to open shortly.

Snow expected, and Telluride Ski Resort Opens More Terrain on Sunday

A storm could drop as much as a foot of snow on Telluride, Colorado’s mountains by Saturday evening.

In addition on Sunday December 4th, The Telluride Ski Resort will open Lift 5 and Lift 6, with 2-3 runs open on The Chair 5 area and Lift 6 providing access to the famous See Forever Trail back with wonderful views of the Wilsons and La Sals and access to the St Sophia Gondola Station as well as back to the Mountain Village core.
