Overall we are making up for the dismal month [...]]]> April Real Estate Sales in the Telluride Region show that despite a decline in the number of transactions, we are up 18% in dollar volume as compared to April 2011. The dip in number of transactions was due to 30 Peaks Hotel Condominiums selling last April.

This cut was necessary based on an estimated property tax revenue shortfall of 15%.

However, when occupancy is highest, like Telluride Bluegrass Festival or 4th of July, additional service will be added. In addition, the winter service for 2012-13 will run the same as winter 2011-12.

Other funding to help keep Dial A Ride in full operations are on the table, including TMVOA chipping in on the cost. Dial A Ride is an important service to Mountain Village residents and tourists, and adds to Real Estate Values and enjoyment of Lifestyle, by avoiding more driving and helping to ease parking congestion.

Service will resume May 24 to coincide with the opening of the gondola.

Number of [...]]]> March 2012 showed an increase of Real Estate sales activity in the Telluride Region. Overall $38.1 million of property sold, led by the $12 million sale of a ski in/ski out residence on Autumn Lane in Mountain Village. March 2011 had $27.3 million in sales.

In fact, March shows four years of year over year increase! This has helped close the gap on disappointing January and February sales and were are off just 8% year to date!

Dallas service is daily from June 14th through September 4th. Houston service is June 9th through October 6th on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
