As compared to May 2015, Telluride Real Estate sales in May 2016 were up 11% in the number of transactions, yet off 32% in dollar volume.
This means that currently, the hottest market is low end and vacant property and homes in San Miguel County are selling very well. Telluride home sales had its best dollar volume month of 2016 and Telluride condominium sales were strong with 9 sales at over $5.3 million in dollar volume.

On Wednesday June 15th the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival will start selling individual day tickets. Trust me, Saturday will sell out. The Grand Tasting is a treat and offers regional and national breweries, plus local favorite Telluride Brewing Company. Skier visits at the Telluride Ski Resort broke 500,000 for the 2015-16 ski season. This was the first time Telluride has hit that mark. As you can see from this powder day, there still are no crowds and our uphill lift capacity far outweighs the snowboarders and skiers.
Its summer now, so lets focus on that and the next festival Telluride Bluegrass!

One of my favorite Telluride festivals is the low key Telluride Balloon Festival. Always the first weekend of June, we often see wind and rain disrupt the event. Not this year. The Main Street Glow was a good time!
On both Saturday and Sunday mornings (because of the steep Telluride Canyon Walls and heat generated, flights need to go out first thing in the morning) balloons were everywhere. Up in Mountain Village, Lawson Hill, in the trees, on Coonskin Ski Trail.

Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association announces the lineup for the 2016 Sunset Concert series which starts Wednesday June 22, with the Who Show. The weekly series runs until Wednesday August 17th and starts at 6:00 pm.
There is a wide variety of musical talent ranging from zydeco with Dwayne Dopsie to some ripping blues with Albert Cummings . Check out the lineup here:
